Veterans Day Ceremony to be held November 11 at RCC

The community is invited to join Robeson Community College for its annual Veterans Day Ceremony Celebration on Monday, November 11. The event will take place at 11:00 a.m. on the East side of campus, near the Military Affiliated Resource Center (MARC) by the flagpoles between Building 13 and Building 14.

Master Sergeant Raymond Hunt will serve as the keynote speaker of the service. During his career Master Sergeant Hunt served as a Sergeant Major of Battalion, Brigade and Battalion NCOIC S-4 Logistics, 1st Sergeant Basic Training, Senior Field of Basic Training Company, Senior Drill Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant, Motor Pool Sergeant, and Corporal. He participated in Operation Desert Shield, Operation Desert Storm, Operation Provide Comfort, Operation New Horizon, and Operation Free Iraq. His deployments took him to serve in Germany, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Kuwait, and Iraq. His many decorations include drill sergeant badge, superior unit award, meritorious service medal and much more. 

The event is free and open to the general public.
