New Partnership with FTCC = More Opportunities for RCC Students!
Earn your general education credits from Robeson Community College for an opportunity to be admitted into the highly competitive dental assisting, dental hygiene, and funeral services programs at Fayetteville Technical Community College through a new partnership signed between the two colleges in July 2023.
The agreement acknowledges that FTCC will reserve six seats in each cohort of its Dental Assisting program and four seats in each cohort of the Dental Hygiene program for Robeson Community College students. Also, as part of the agreement, RCC will work cooperatively to inform students of the FTCC Funeral Services Education program and its admission requirements.

Overview
The Funeral Service Education curriculum provides students with the opportunity to become proficient in basic funeral service skills. In addition to the general education courses offered in the curriculum, technical courses such as human anatomy, embalming theory and practice, embalming chemistry, restorative arts, funeral law, and funeral home operations are taught.
This program is offered at RCC through a partnership with Fayetteville Technical Community College. You will complete your first two semesters at Robeson Community College, then finish your degree through Fayetteville Technical Community College.
Career Options
Graduates of the curriculum, upon passing the state or national exam and completing an internship in a funeral home, will be qualified for employment as embalmers and/or funeral directors.
