All students will be required to complete a drug screen\ official background check. The performance of the drug screen\criminal background check is currently a requirement of the clinical sites with whom the College has contracted to provide clinical training and experience to the College’s Health Sciences students. It will be your responsibility to pay for the drug screen / criminal background check. Additional information regarding the ONLINE company you will complete this through will be provided upon registration. This must be completed no later than the first week of class.
The clinical sites have the discretionary right to refuse to permit a student having a positive drug screen and/or criminal record from receiving clinical training in their facility and that this determination is made by the clinical sites individually without input from the College. In the event that you are denied placement in a clinical facility by any of the clinical sites, you will be unable to successfully complete the Program, as the Program’s clinical objectives cannot be met, and you will be dismissed from the Program by the College.
