Robeson Community College Hosts FAFSA Day

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: February 27, 2026

Lumberton, NC— Robeson Community College will host FAFSA Day on Saturday, February 28, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Student Center. This special event is designed to provide students and families with one-on-one assistance in completing the 2026-2027 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

As an added incentive, thanks to a generous donation from the Robeson Community College Foundation, two laptops will be awarded through Grand Prize raffle drawings.

FAFSA Day ensures students have access to the financial aid funding available for the upcoming academic year. Knowledgeable staff and partners will be on-site to guide participants step-by-step through the application process and answer questions about financial aid eligibility.

Students attending should bring:

· Their FSA ID

· Social Security number

· 2024 tax returns

· A parent or guardian (for dependent students)

In addition to FAFSA assistance, representatives from College Foundation of North Carolina (CFNC) and Communities in Schools will be available to provide additional guidance and resources. On-campus departments including Admissions, Advising, and Career Assessments will also be present to support students with enrollment and academic planning.
