Robeson Community College Commencement

    Graduation Application 2024

    Students must have met program requirements in December 2023, May 2024, or be on track to complete by July 2024.  Please submit a completed graduation application to the Records Office at least one semester prior to program completion.  Jostens (Overby Graduation Services) will be on campus Tuesday, April 23rd, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. for student pick up of graduation orders and questions.  

    Notice:  RCC has a new cap and gown color (royal blue) for 2024 Graduation.  Cap and gown from previous years “cannot” be used.

    Graduation Rehearsal – May 7, 2024

    Rehearsal will begin at 10 a.m. in the auditorium.  Graduates will receive graduation tickets, graduate yard signs, t-shirts, and other items.  Lunch will also be served.

    Graduation Times – May 8, 2024

    Please refer to the graduation letter you received for your graduation time

    • 10 a.m. Ceremony – Associate in Applied Science Degrees ONLY 
    • 4 p.m. Ceremony – Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, Associate in General Education, Diploma and College & Career Readiness Degrees

    Graduates arrive one hour prior to graduation for line-up and photography in the student center.

    Tickets

    • Tickets are required
    • Each graduate will receive 3 tickets for graduation
    • Tickets may be picked up prior to graduation
    • Ticketed seats will be held until 15 minutes prior to the ceremony

    Diplomas
    Diplomas will be mailed, approximately three weeks after graduation, to the address in Self-Service. Please verify the address on file before graduation. Should you need to update your address, you may do so in Self-Service or by contacting the Business Office at (910) 272-3453.

      Professional Photograph
      A professional photographer will be available to take a picture of the graduate before the ceremony (must arrive an hour early) in the Student Center, building 13.  An on stage photograph will also be taken during the acceptance of the diploma cover.    

      Balloons, flowers, beverages, and food will not be allowed in the auditorium.
