Cumberland County’s David Ramsey commits to RCC’s Inaugural Team

This Fall, David Ramsey will be calling Robeson Community College home as he has committed to playing for the inaugural baseball team. 

Ramsey is a native of Hope Mills and currently attends South View High School in Cumberland County. When asked what he hopes to become, he said he would like to be a police detective and plans on majoring in criminal justice, which will pave the way for his future career goals. 

Ramsey will join Brett Kutner of Raleigh, Mynkoda Smith and Nemo Chavis, both from Fairmont, Andrew Corney of Hope Milles, and Chase Young from Oak Ridge, John Carre from West End, Gage Griffiths of Archdale, Mason Barnes from Fayetteville, three players from Clayton – Noah Hince, Ty Lee, and Will Hicks, two players from Temple, Texas — Anthony Ramos and Lezlie Jackson, Thomasville native Ayden Wall, one player from Spring Hill, Tennessee – Davin Roush, Pleasant Garden’s Matthew Moser, Lumberton native Tashaun Stocks, and one player by way of Montgomery Alabama and Ciblo, Texas – Messiah Miller.
