Fire Instructor II (certification) This is a 36 hour course required to become a qualified instructor and teach certification classes through OSFM. You have to be certified as a level 1 instructor to attend this class. This class will be held Monday through Thursday, April 16-19, 2018, at the Emergency Services Training Center. Students need a current copy of Fire Instructor by Jones and Bartlett. Pre-registration is required, as seating is limited. Call the training center at 910-272-3330 to reserve your spot.
Level 1 Hazardous Materials Responder (certification) Raynham Fire Department April 3,5,10,12,17,19,24 and 26, 2018. Class starts at 1830 hrs. each evening. This is a 32 hour course and is a requirement to certification as a firefighter or technical rescuer in North Carolina.
Level 1 Hazardous Materials Responder (certification) Pembroke City Fire Department May 1,5,10,14, 19 and 23, 2018. Evening classes will run 1830 until 2230 hrs. Saturday class will run 0800 hrs. until 1700 hrs. This is a 32 hour course and is a requirement for certification as a firefighter or technical rescuer in North Carolina.
Driver/Operator Emergency Vehicle Driver (certification) Fairmont Rural Fire Department May 14, 15 and 26, 2018. Evening class starts at 1830 hrs. and the Saturday class will start at 0900 hrs.
