RCC’s BLET graduates 39 cadets during Fall semester

Robeson Community College graduated 39 cadets from its Basic Law Enforcement Training Academy this fall. Some cadets were members of the academy that started during the summer break, while others started at the beginning of the fall semester.  

“We congratulate these graduates of the Basic Law Enforcement program at Robeson Community College,” stated RCC President Melissa Singler. “These students have chosen an honorable path of public service and they will become our law enforcement heroes as they stand watch over us, protecting and serving the community.”  

Executive Vice President Eric Freeman echoed those sentiments saying, “We are extremely proud of our 2024 BLET graduates. You have demonstrated the leadership, discipline, and the valor necessary to enter law enforcement. To each of you, we wish you God’s speed as you enter the workforce and work to serve and protect others as officers of the law.”  

The 39 cadets are:  Tyson Lamar Jr. Balaam, Flynn Bass, Elijah Dante Campbell, Darien Alan Carter, Tony Larjune Colson Jr., Travis Lee Deal, April Melinda Dorsett, Robert Earl Freeman, Rodrick Marco Matrel Galberth, Jake Maxwell Greenspan, Victoria Guerra, Zachary Dylan Haywood, Christian Lee Hun, Dakota Sanchez Jones, Eric Taylor Jones, Tristan Dakota Jones, Jarrett Sawyer Kinlaw, Jacob Samuel Lasich, Thomas Morris Livingston, Chadon Tyler Locklear, Ethan Todd Locklear, Jarrett Nicholas Locklear, Ryan Keith Locklear, Patrick Delance McMillian, Dexter James McNeill, Andrew McLean Jr Pait, Roberta Pablo, Christian Blake Ransom, Gary Tyler Reese, Zachary Matthew Christian Sharpe, Antyawn Clayton Smith, Carl Timothy Smith Jr., Ronald Gregory Strickland, Aaron Patrick Taylor, Rakeem Bradley Thompson, Joshua Mathew Villa, Michael Nathaniel Webster, Brian Williamson, and David Ahmad Williams. 

These cadets all became graduates of the Basic Law Enforcement program this semester at RCC, completing the requirements necessary to take state board examinations to become a sworn law enforcement officer for the State of North Carolina.
