RCC Announces Homecoming 2025: “Flying into Fall” Diamond Eagles!

LUMBERTON, NC – Get ready to soar, Diamond Eagles! Robeson Community College is thrilled to announce Homecoming 2025: “Flying into Fall”, a week-long celebration of school spirit, student life, and community pride. The festivities will take place October 27-31, 2025, and will feature themed days, contests, food trucks, and fun-filled events across campus for students, faculty, staff, and alumni to enjoy.

Homecoming week, also known a Diamond Eagles Spirit Week, has become a cherished tradition at Robeson Community College, a time when the entire campus comes alive with energy and excitement. The celebration encourages students to express their creativity, showcase their RCC pride, and connect with classmates and staff in meaningful ways.

“Homecoming is more than just a week of events’ it’s a celebration of our Diamond Eagle family,” said RCC President Melissa Singler. “It’s a time to honor our students, our academic achievements, and our sense of community. We’re excited to see everyone come together and show what makes Robeson Community College such a special place.”

Throughout the week, students can look forward to daily themes and activities that combine fun and school spirit with opportunities for engagement and connection.

Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff,

Due to the forecasted weather conditions this week, several Diamond Eagle Spirit Week events have been adjusted. Please review the updates and be sure to check the flyer below for a full list of activities happening each day on campus.

Monday, October 27^th

• The Pumpkin Painting Contest will now be held indoors in the Student Center.

Tuesday, October 28^th

• The Breast Cancer Awareness Walk has been moved indoors to the Student Center.
• Please note: The BOO BASH scheduled for Tuesday, October 28^th has been canceled due to adverse weather.

Wednesday, October 29^th

• The Fall Festival originally scheduled on campus has been postponed to a later date.
• Melecio’s Food Truck will not be on campus. Instead, Students, Faculty, and Staff are invited to enjoy one free hot dog and a bag of chips in the Student Center from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Thursday, October 30^th

• Join us in the Student Center for the Costume Contest and a Trick or Treat event from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. for all students!
• Please note: Hunt’s Food Truck will not be on campus Thursday. Melecio’s Food Truck will be serving food for purchase instead.
