Lunch fundraiser generates more than $800 for RCC Foundation

Robeson Community College is excited to announce that the RCC Foundation raised more than $800 today with the assistance, and talents, of the RCC Culinary Department.

“Let’s do lunch,” an email from Jessica Bullard, RCC Foundation Director stated. “We have joined forces with Chef Lester Locklear and the culinary department for another chance to support our Campus Fund Drive.”

Faculty and staff today were invited to ‘put your money where your mouth is” by purchasing lunch to support students at RCC.

Chef’s Lester Locklear, Linsie Locklear, and Mike Ingram, along with culinary students prepared and boxed meals for faculty and staff.

Plates were provided for a donation of $10.00 each. The menu included chicken marsala and chicken with fresh tomato sauce and basil.
