Welding

This course provides instruction on the principles and practices of welding. Emphasis is on the blueprint reading, metallurgy, welding inspection, and destructive and non-destructive testing. Course content will be specific to a particular welding process, such as SMAW (stick), GMAW (MIG), and GTAW (TIG).
- Students must be at least 18 years of age prior to the start date of the class.
- Students must attend at least 80% of the contact hours in order to complete the course
- A Completion Certificate is issued at the conclusion of the course
Student Supplies Required:
- 6-inch high Steel toe boots
- Welding Helmet
- Welding Jacket
- Safety Glasses – Clear and Cutting Glasses
- Welding Gloves – 4 Pairs (Work, Tig, Mig, and Stick)
- Chipping Hammer
- Brush
**These items can be purchased through Amazon, Harbor Freight, or Tractor Supply. Bring items with you the first night.
