Eclipse Viewing Party

The Science Department invites everyone in our community to join us for the 2024 Solar Eclipse Viewing Party, April 8 from 2pm – 4pm.
According to RCC’s Astronomy Instructor David Gavasci, Lumberton should have 80% coverage which should make for an impressive, spectacular view. Telescopes and special solar glasses will be available so you can view the solar eclipse safely. Please do not view the eclipse without the proper, industry standard glasses as it could damage your vision.
