Special Broadcast to feature RCC on WPDE Sat., June 18 @ 7:30pm

Robeson Community College will be featured on WPDE/ABC 15 this Saturday during a special broadcast. Robeson Community College: Apprenticeships for Today’s Business will air from 7:30pm – 8:00pm. 

Viewers will see many familiar faces from the RCC Family including President Singler, Eric Freeman, Dr. Patrena Elliott, Patrick Jacques, Robert Ivey, and Patricia Locklear, as well as our friends from the System Office and ApprenticeshipNC, Dr. Bruce Mack, Dr. Elizabeth Standafer, and Joyce Milling, and special guests Micah Sampson from Campbells Soup and EMS students/apprentices Brianna Locklear and Acerah Strickland. 

Apprenticeships is the name of the game, and this broadcast will give businesses an opportunity to learn more about the value that an apprentice can bring.

The program will be hosted by Cecil Chandler, long time anchor and reporter for WBTW and WPDE and is funded by a grant received from ApprenticeshipNC. The show will re-air at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 25 and 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 26th at 11am.
