Singler Named President

The NC State Board of Community Colleges has named Melissa Singler as the sixth president of Robeson Community College. 

Ms. Singer has been serving as Executive Vice President at Cape Fear Community College in New Hanover and Pender Counties where she provided leadership and direction for Academic Affairs and Instruction, Continuing Education and Workforce Development, Student Services and Enrollment Management, Information Technology Systems, Internal Compliance Review, Marketing and Communications, Campus Security and Safety, and the Wilson Center. Ms. Singler is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.

Ms. Singler’s start date is November 1.

The Robeson Community College Board of Trustees will host a welcome reception on Monday, November 11. The reception will take place at 4:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. in the BB&T Conference Room (Building 18, Charles V. Chrestman Workforce Development Center).
