Scholarship Fundraiser to be held Feb. 1 at Wing Co.

Robeson Community College and the RCC Foundation invite you to join them for a scholarship fundraiser night at the Wing Co. in Lumberton, this Thursday, February 1.

The event will take place from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. in honor and memory of Miss Edna Trinity Mazell Hunt and the scholarship that was established at Robeson Community College in her name after her tragic passing in 2011, just shy of her 4th birthday.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards the scholarship to assist single parents in the Early Childhood Education program at RCC.

”Please come out and enjoy time with your family, while supporting RCC students and honoring the memory of this beautiful little girl, Miss Edna Trinity Mazzel Hunt, who was taken from us too soon,” stated RCC President Melissa Singler. “Through this scholarship, may her legacy will live on through the students who become teachers in daycares, preschools, and in elementary education grade levels and the children they teach.”

“We thank everyone for their support of this worthy cause,” Singler added.
