SACSCOC Completes On-Site Visit

Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) has completed its on-site visit of Robeson Community College (RCC). SACSCOC is the regional body for the accreditation of degree-granting higher education institutions in the southern states. SACSCOC reviews the college’s accreditation every ten years.

The SACSCOC On-Site Reaffirmation Committee conducted a focused evaluation of the campus to examine compliance with the core requirements and standards, evaluate and advise RCC’s Quality Enhancement Plan, SPARC.

The On-Site Committee commended the institution on a good visit; however, final reaffirmation status is determined by the SACSCOC Board of Trustees at their June 2020 meeting.  The college extends gratitude to the SACSCOC Board of Trustees and the on-site and off-site committees.
