Robeson Community College will be closed on Thursday, August 31

Due to forecasts of inclement weather as a result of Hurricane Idalia, Robeson Community College will be closed to the public on Thursday, August 31.

Classes will move to remote learning beginning Wednesday, August 30 at 5:00 p.m. through Thursday, August 31. Robeson Community College is expected to resume its normal schedule at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, September 1.

Students are expected to check Moodle and their RCC email accounts for instructions from faculty regarding classes, assignments, and clinicals.

“Our primary concern is ensuring the safety and well-being of our students, faculty, staff and community at large,” stated RCC President Melissa Singler in a college-wide email. “Please stay safe!”

Officials at Robeson Community College ask that students, faculty, and staff continue to monitor the RCC website, social media, and news outlets for updates.
