RCC Celebrates Summer Graduates

The summer commencement ceremony for Robeson Community College was held Thursday, Aug 1st, in the A.D. Lewis Auditorium. The summer class of 2019 at RCC was made up of 51 students. Among the students, the Cosmetology Department had its first associate degree graduates walk across the stage.

Interim President Dr. William Findt conferred the degrees earned by the 51 graduates who completed the requirements for their respective programs during the summer session.

Retired Superior Court Judge and Interim County Attorney, Gary Locklear served as the commencement speaker. He encouraged the graduates to utilize their degree to the fullest potential and as a positive impact on their community.
