Program News: Effective Teacher Training
Effective June 1, 2019 , the Public Schools of Robeson County now require the new 36-hour offered by Robeson Community College. The certificate from this class must accompany the application when applying for a Substitute Teacher or a Teaching Assistant. RCC offers day, night and weekend classes to fit your schedule. We recently had our first class, taught by Mrs. Hawhana Locklear, Principal of Fairgrove Middle School.
To register, visit the Workforce Development Center to register and pay. A textbook is required and can be purchased in RCC Bookstore for $40. Contact Julie Baxley (910) 272-3671 for additional dates for September 2019, October 2019, November 2019, and December 2019.
