Robeson Community College

President Singler Welcomes Students Back For Spring Semester

Dear RCC Students,

The year 2020 was an extremely difficult year. Some of us have lost loved ones and friends or are experiencing great challenges due to COVID-19. I want to personally thank each of you for the decision to continue your education and training at Robeson Community College.

The health and safety of our students, employees and visitors has always been the number one priority as we prepared for your return to RCC this spring. Detailed information on our COVID-19 plans, policies and procedures are available on the college’s website.  This plan is subject to change based on recommendations from local, state and federal officials, so check this page regularly.

Please note that face coverings are required of all students, employees and visitors on campus. We will continue to adhere to social distancing and hand washing guidelines.

Spring semester will begin Monday, January 11, 2021 as scheduled. Many of our classes have transitioned to an online format. If you have registered for an online, hybrid or blended class, please login and complete the required enrollment assignment the first day of class. Traditional and classroom portions of hybrid and blended classes will meet as scheduled. Class sizes have been reduced in order to comply with social distancing requirements. If you have any questions, contact your instructor.

Please reach out to us if you encounter issues that hinder your success. We are here to support you in every way possible!

I am asking that each of you check your college email, RCC website and social media accounts regularly for updates from your instructors and the college at large.

The start of this new year holds new possibilities and promises for us all.  Together, we can overcome the challenges posed by this virus and beyond.

Welcome back!!

Melissa Singler, President
