Robeson Community College Foundation Office is now a Passport Acceptance Agency on behalf of the U.S. Department of State.
Passport Application Information
Applications are accepted by appointment only.
If English is not your native language, a translator (age 18 or older with valid identification) is required to be present to process all passport applications.

To expedite your appointment, applicants are encouraged to prefill their passport application online at travel.state.gov before arriving.

Application Acceptance Hours

Monday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Tuesday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Wednesday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Applying for a First-Time Passport
If you have never had a U.S. passport or are not eligible to renew by mail, you must apply in person using the DS-11 form.

Complete the application online and print it on two separate pages (not double-sided).

If handwriting the form, use black ink only.

Do not use correction fluid or strike through errors—download a new form if needed.

Do not sign the form until instructed by the passport acceptance agent who will administer the oath.

Certified birth certificate or proof of U.S. citizenship

Valid government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, state, or military ID)

Existing passport book or card, if applicable
Passport Renewals
If eligible to renew by mail or online, complete form DS-82.
Bring your previous passport book or card, and one valid form of identification.
Passports for Minors (Under Age 16)

Both parents/guardians must authorize the issuance of a child’s passport.

The best method is for both parents/guardians to appear in person with the child.

Children must present proof of citizenship.

Parents/guardians must present proof of parental relationship.

Note: Children’s passports are valid for five (5) years.

Two separate payments are required: one for the U.S. Department of State and one for the facility.
