Passport Services at Robeson Community College
Planning to travel? Robeson Community College offers convenient passport application services to help you get started with ease and confidence. Our Passport Acceptance Facility provides in-person guidance to help ensure your application is accurate and complete before submission to the U.S. Department of State.
Translator Requirement: If English is not your native language, a translator age 18 or older with valid identification is required to be present to process all passport applications. No exceptions.

Robeson Community College Passport Acceptance Facility is not affiliated with any third-party passport website, application service, appointment service, courier service, or online passport processing company.
The ONLY official passport website/resource that Robeson Community College directs applicants to is the U.S. Department of State website: travel.state.gov.
If you choose to use another website or third-party company and pay fees online, Robeson Community College cannot apply, transfer, credit, reimburse, or refund those payments toward the fees required at your RCC passport appointment. Any money paid to a third-party website or company is separate from the fees required to process your passport application.
Applicants must still pay all applicable U.S. Department of State and Passport Acceptance Facility fees at the time of their appointment, regardless of any payments previously made to a third-party website or service.
Please be aware that completing a passport form online does not necessarily mean that your passport application has been submitted or that the required passport fees have been paid. First-time applicants and others required to use Form DS-11 must appear in person at an authorized Passport Acceptance Facility.
To protect your personal information and avoid unnecessary or unauthorized charges, RCC strongly recommends using only the official U.S. Department of State passport website for passport forms, fee information, application requirements, processing information, and other passport-related guidance.

Appointments & Location
To schedule an appointment or for questions, please contact the Foundation Office at (910) 272-3235. Applicants are encouraged to prefill their passport application using travel.state.gov.
Passport services are available by appointment only through the RCC Foundation Office, Building 13, Room 1361, on the Robeson Community College campus in Lumberton, North Carolina.
Monday – Thursday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Passport Application Services
- Passport application acceptance and processing, except same-day acceptance services
- Facility Acceptance Fee: $35
- Passport photo services available onsite: $17
- Application review for accuracy and completeness
- Missing documents or required payment methods may result in delays or require rescheduling
Passport Renewals: Eligible passport renewals using Form DS-82 are generally completed by mail and do not require an in-person acceptance appointment. Renewal assistance is offered as a courtesy.

U.S. Department of State Application Fee: Payment for the application fee at a passport acceptance facility must be made according to current U.S. Department of State payment requirements. Applicants should verify current fees and accepted payment methods at travel.state.gov before their appointment.
Facility Acceptance Fee: The $35 acceptance fee is paid separately to the Robeson Community College Passport Acceptance Facility. Any RCC passport photo fee is also separate from U.S. Department of State fees.
