New short-term training opportunities available at Robeson Community College this fall

Robeson Community College is adding new short-term training solutions to its portfolio of classes beginning this August.

“We are increasing access to education in a variety of areas,” stated RCC President Melissa Singler. “We are offering more short-term training classes that parallel our curriculum programs which meet the needs of our local workforce.”

The college will continue to offer many of its staple courses such as CPR, Basic Rider, DDC4, Notary Public, Pottery, and Effective Teacher Training, as well as its signature workforce program such as Truck Driving, EMT, Medical Assisting, Nurse Aide I and II, Real Estate, Phlebotomy and Pharmacy Technician.

  • Instrumentation Level I
  • National Electric Code Level I

Fire & Rescue

  • Aircraft Emergencies

HVAC

  • Introduction
  • Basic Electrical

Mechatronics

  • Residential Wiring Level I
  • Maintenance Procedures Level I

Night & Weekend Cosmetology

  • Cosmetology Concepts/Salon I Pt A

Welding

  • Welding Cutting Processes I
  • SMAW (Stick) Plate Level I

Many programs have online registration available or you can register by calling 910-272-3630 or by visiting Robeson Community College in person. The continuing education office is located on the main campus in Lumberton in Building 18, the Workforce Development Center.
