New Career and College Promise Classes Available Through RCC

New Career and College Promise classes are available for high school students in Robeson County. New options that students can choose from include Fire Technology I / II, Cyber Security, Gaming, Mechatronics Engineering, and Networking to name a few.

Career and College Promise classes are offered through Robeson Community College in partnership with the Public Schools of Robeson County. CCP classes are free for high school students and allow them to earn college credit and post-secondary credentials while in high school. Many area high school students are able to walk away with an associate’s degree in addition to their diploma upon graduation and enter a 4-year college or university with a junior status. Others obtain credentials such as Nurse Aide I certification, for example, and are able to gain employment once they complete their coursework.

CCP classes start August 23. Students who are interested in enrolling are asked to contact their high school counselor and CCP Advisor to register.
