Items Collected For Southeastern Family Violence Center
RCC recently completed a toiletry drive for the Southeastern Family Violence Center (SFVC), a local domestic violence center. The drive was extended through November as people continued to bring in items. In addition to the items, a check for $50 was received from one of our local churches.
The winners for the Outback gift cards were Ms. Kim Jacobs and Ms. Stephanie McNeil.
“Wishing all a wonderful holiday break! Practice kindness during the holidays. Do something for others, such as visiting a rest home, raking leaves in an older neighbors’ yard, visiting the shut-ins., etc. Experience the joy of loving others and the true meaning of Christmas!”, said Bonita B. Bell, drive organizer.
Southeastern Family Violence Center has been helping individuals and families on their journey towards a more peaceful life since 1981. They believe in each person’s right to self-determination, safety, and a life free from violence.
