Free upcoming small business center workshops to include “Farm2Fork” Series
If you’re interested in starting a small business, Robeson Community College’s Small Business Center is offering several free upcoming workshops.
A six-part series titled “How to start a Farm2Fork business in Indian Country” will begin on May 23 and will feature RCC Culinary Chef Instructors James Ingram and Jordan Oxendine. Students enrolled in the Farm2Fork course will learn about sustainable farming techniques as well as financial planning and legal structures for a food business; local and regional Native American Recipes and with opportunities for hands-on cooking; requirements for packaging, storage, and delivery; as well as how to utilize best practices and techniques in food production and distribution.
