Costs
All registration fees must be paid before a student is considered registered for a course. In addition, students are required to purchase textbooks and educational materials. Paramedic courses have additional expenses and fees for uniforms, criminal background checks, drug testing, immunizations, fit testing, tuberculosis screening, clinical site transportation, and liability and health insurance. All fees must be paid prior to announced deadlines.

FINANACIAL AID, FEE WAIVERS, AND EMPLOYER REIMBURSEMENT
Non-degree continuing education classes are not covered by financial aid.  If you are an active volunteer or work with an EMS provider, fire department, or law enforcement agency, you may qualify for a registration fee waiver. Please call 910-272-3407 for additional information concerning such waivers. Also, consult with your department representative, company officer, or supervisor to learn if other agency-provided financial aid is available. Some companies purchase students’ textbooks or reimburse certain expenses upon completion of an educational program.
