Happy Constitution Day from Robeson Community College!
September 17th is Constitution Day and Robeson Community College wants to highlight the day and week with Constitutional Trivia!
Check this webpage or your RCC email each day this week (September 16 – September 20) for the Constitution question of the day for a chance to win some RCC swag, a pocket constitution, and some might even win a gift card!
Daily Trivia:
September 16 – According to the Constitution, what branch of the federal government is responsible for making laws?
September 17 – True or false: The Constitution has always limited a president to serving a maximum of two full terms.
September 18 – In a criminal trial, what does it mean if a defendant invokes the Fifth Amendment to the Constitution?
September 19 – In the line of succession for the presidency, if the president and vice president were incapacitated and could not serve, who is next in line to serve as president?

Constitution Day commemorates the formation and signing of the U.S. Constitution by thirty-nine brave men on September 17, 1787, recognizing all who are born in the U.S. or by naturalization, have become citizens. Those who successfully answer all questions by 3:00 pm Friday, September 20 will be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card and RCC swag. Please send all responses to my email at moxendine@robeson.edu. Winners will be chosen at random on Monday, September 23, 2024.
Celebrate Constitution Day with the National Constitution Center! Throughout the day on September 17, the NCC will be providing numerous online programs designed to both engage viewers and educate them about the impact of our Constitution. Please see this website to review and sign up for these events: https://constitutioncenter.org/calendar/constitution-day-2024
