Congressman Dan Bishop Visits RCC

Robeson Community College was welcomed by Congressman Dan Bishop on Thursday, February 20, 2020. He was welcomed by representatives of the RCC & Robeson County community including faculty, staff, trustees and elected officials. 

In his remarks to attendees, Bishop focused on his commitment to RCC and Robeson County.  Bishop didn’t let the damp weather detour him from touring the campus, visiting various areas of the college including the Law Enforcement Training Center, Health Science Building and Workforce Development Center. 

“One of the benefits of the Congressman’s visit is the opportunity for him to interact with our students and see the work we do every day here at RCC. We’re grateful he traveled in this weather to spend the day with us.”, said Melissa Singler, RCC President.
