Chenice Milone declared winner of the 2023 Halloween Costume Contest

In the Spirit of Halloween, Robeson Community College hosted a costume contest today. Even though many dressed in costume, only 13 competed for the title of best costume.

And the winner of the 2023 RCC Costume Contest went to…

Chenice Milone, a cosmetology student at RCC. Milone dressed as a crowd and truly won over the crowd with her entrance performance, showcasing her personality as much as her costume. She received the most applause and cheers from the audience and was declared the winner.

2nd place went to Bessie Locklear-Kamaka, also a cosmetology student at Robeson Community College, and 3rd place went to Emma Scott, an early college student dressed as Peter Pan.

Although they did not compete, Madea, Where’s Waldo, and Wednesday Adams, all made a visit to the RCC Campus today and could be seen talking to students.

RCC Board Chair Shirley Stockton also stopped by the main campus in Lumberton to join in all the fun. Her costume blended perfectly with the fall foliage and flowers on campus.

Check out photos from the contest below, as well as photos of more students, faculty and staff from across campus on this Halloween, October 31, 2023.
