ALUMNUS OPENS COLD STONE CREAMERY LOCATION

On Wednesday, Nov 20th, Harry Jhala opened a new Cold Stone Creamery location. This location is located in the former Huddle House restaurant building directly across from the Holiday Inn (101 Wintergreen Dr, Lumberton, NC 28358).

Harry Jhala, has been a client of RCC’s Small Business Center since 2016 when the planning of this new franchise restaurant began.

The original proposed location for this restaurant was flooded during Hurricanes Matthew in 2016 and Florence in 2018, thus delaying the opening. Mr. Jhala is also a former student of RCC’s HVAC program, a volunteer firefighter, and the owner of the Long Branch Cafe. Harry invites the RCC family to come to visit him for some “stress-relieving” delicious ice cream.
