$44,490 raised during Campus Fund Drive at RCC

The results are in from the 2021 Campus Fund Drive at Robeson Community College! Faculty and staff at RCC donated almost $45,000, collectively, to the RCC Foundation.

“We are so thankful for the support our faculty and staff showed during this year’s Campus Fund Drive,“ said Jessica Bullard, director of the RCC Foundation. “Our Campus Fund Drive was a huge success. We know we can always count on our faculty and staff to support our students.”

The money raised will be used by the RCC Foundation as designated by donors, to support students and provide scholarships.

This year’s fundraiser saw a 14% increase in giving from faculty and staff from the previous year when the college raised $38,909.50 in 2021 compared to $44,490 in 2021.

The participation rate also increased during the 2021 drive, with 72% of faculty and staff participating, compared to just 38% in 2020.

“I am so excited that we have increased not only the amount of money raised but also our participation rate among our faculty and staff,” said RCC President Melissa Singler.

“It’s all about giving, and giving from the heart, and we are so appreciative of everything that our faculty and staff do in helping RCC to achieve its mission and in providing a quality education for our students,” Singler continued. “RCC is filled with some of the most caring and most generous individuals, and these results from the Campus Fund Drive show that.”
