RCC Foundation Tees Up 42nd Annual Clifford Bullard Golf Tournament

LUMBERTON, N.C. —For 42 years, a day on the golf course has helped open doors for Robeson Community College students.
That tradition continues Thursday, October 1, 2026, when the Robeson Community College Foundation welcomes golfers, businesses, and community partners to Pinecrest Country Club in Lumberton for the 42nd Annual Clifford Bullard Memorial Golf Tournament.
One of the Foundation’s signature fundraising events, the tournament brings the community together for a day of golf, fellowship and friendly competition with a larger purpose: investing in the success of RCC students.
Proceeds support the RCC Foundation and its work to provide scholarships and educational opportunities for students pursing college degrees, workforce credentials and career training. Through the generosity of sponsors and participants, the tournament helps remove financial barriers and provides resources that can make the difference between simply starting an education and successfully completing it.
“The Clifford Bullard Memorial Golf Tournament is special because it represents what our community does so well, come together to support our students,” said Renee Collins, Vice President of the Robeson Community College Foundation. “For more than four decades, businesses, organizations and individuals have continued to show up for RCC. Every sponsorship and every team that participates helps us create opportunities for students and, ultimately, strengthen the communities we serve.”
Held in memory of Clifford Bullard, the tournament has grown into a longstanding RCC tradition and an important source of support for the Foundation’s mission.
Morning registration begins at 7:30 a.m. with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. Afternoon registration begins at 12:30 p.m., followed by a 1:30 p.m. shotgun start. Four-person teams will enjoy contests, raffles, a 50/50 board, refreshments, lunch, awards and special prize opportunities.
