Before you can meet with an advisor, you’ll need to complete a few steps through Admissions.

Start here:

Once these steps are complete, you’re ready for advising.

Meet With Your Academic Advisor

Academic Advisors are located in the Library.

Your advisor will help you with:

  • Understanding the requirements for your degree or program
  • Reviewing what courses are offered for the current semester, including prerequisites and workload expectations
  • Deciding how many courses to take based on work, family responsibilities, and financial aid requirements
  • Completing course registration

Your advisor’s role is to help you build a schedule that makes sense for your goals and your life.
