    🎓 Graduation Requirements & Procedures

    To ensure you are eligible for graduation and prepared for the ceremony, please review the following criteria and regalia information.

    Eligibility Criteria

    To graduate, every student must meet these five requirements:

    • Curriculum: Successfully complete all specific program requirements.
    • GPA: Maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA (both cumulative and within your major).
    • Grades: Earn passing grades in all required credit hours.
    • Enrollment: You must be currently enrolled in all your final remaining classes at the time of application.
    • Residency: Complete at least 25% of your total credits at Robeson Community College.

    🎓 Commencement Regalia (Cap, Gown, Tassel & Stole)

    All graduates participating in the ceremony are required to wear official regalia. We have a new vendor this year!!!

    • How to Order: All orders are handled by our vendor, Herff Jones, at collegegrad.herffjones.com.
    • Delivery: Regalia is not available for pickup; it will be shipped directly to your home.
    • Diploma Covers: These are shipped to the college and will be presented to you during the ceremony.

    Not attending the ceremony? You are still required to order your diploma and cover for a $12.00 fee. Please email bwaseleski@herffjones.com to place this order.

    🏆 Graduate Honors

    Academic honors noted on your official transcripts and degree/diploma.

    • Qualification: Available for Degree and Diploma programs (Certificate programs are not eligible).
    • Recognition: Students with a GPA of 3.5 to 4.0 graduate with Honors and are entitled to wear a gold cord.
    • Cord Pick-up: An email will go out for pick up 2 weeks prior to commencement day.
    • Note: Ceremony honors are determined by your Fall GPA, while final transcript notations are based on your final cumulative GPA.
