RCC Madness in March continues with two headlining events in the coming week – Phenomenal Women Celebration on Monday, March 17 and the RCC March Huddle with University Transfer Partners on Tuesday, March 18.
Phenomenal Women Celebration
In honor and celebration of Women’s History Month, RCC will host its 2nd Annual Phenomenal Women Celebration Event on Monday, February 17. The celebration will run from 11am – 12pm in the Student Center located in Building 13 on the main campus in Lumberton.
Guest Speakers of Honor for this event are Sgt. Janice Weathers and Donna McDowell, APRN, MSN, FNP-BC. Sgt. Janice Weathers is the Department Adjutant & CEO for Disabled American Veterans, Department of North Carolina and Donna McDowell is a family nurse practitioner. The event promises to be uplifting and motivational as these two women share their experiences and testimony with students, faculty, staff and community members.
This event is free and open to the public.
March Huddle
On Tuesday, join Robeson Community College for its Annual March Huddle with University Transfer Partners! The event will take place on March 18 from 9am to 11:30am in the Student Center, Building 13 on the main campus in Lumberton.
Students, parents, and special guests will have an opportunity to learn more about the opportunities available for Robeson Community College students with guaranteed admission at NC State University, UNC Pembroke, Appalachian State University, UNC Chapel Hill, UNC Wilmington, East Carolina University, NC Wesleyan University, Fayetteville State University, Methodist University, and Lees-McRae University.
RCC Admissions, Career Services, Advisors, as well as clubs and organizations will also be available to assist with any questions you may have about the transfer process or what life is like as a student at Robeson Community College.
