Business Administration

Business Administration is among the top 10 college degrees in demand. Business degrees are the most widely recognized in the industry and enable graduates to earn jobs in finance, retail, manufacturing, construction, and service sectors. Jobs are not likely to decrease in demand. Salaries of recent graduates range from $25,000 to $45,000.

Graduates are prepared for employment opportunities in government agencies, financial institutions, and large to small business or industry.

BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, AAS

The Business Administration curriculum is designed to introduce students to the various aspects of the free enterprise system. Students will be provided with a fundamental knowledge of business functions, processes, and an understanding of business organizations in today’s global economy.

As an additional option for students, the Business Administration program is offered as an online degree program.

The Business Administration AAS Degree is a 67 – 68 credit hour program including 15 hours of general education. Within the 15 hours, students may choose college transfer math and English courses which may later benefit them if they choose to continue with a 4-year degree.

Business Foundations, Certificate

This certificate program is designed to provide individuals with a basic understanding of business fundamentals. Holders of this certificate would be better able to start and manage a small business.

Customer Service, Certificate

This certificate program is designed to provide individuals with entry-level competencies in retail, and hospitality industries, and general positions in business and other organizations. Positions available to holders of this certificate would be sales associate, client services representative, customer service associate, and front office administrator.

Business Administration, CTE Certificate

The Business Administration Certificate is designed to introduce students to various aspects of Business Technologies. Students will be provided fundamental knowledge of business functions, processes, and an understanding of business organizations in today’s global economy.

Upon completion of the certificate, students will be awarded a Certificate in Business Administration-General from RCC
