Training Room Named After Trooper Kevin Conner

On August 16, 2019, The Robeson Community College Foundation named a classroom in the Sammy Cox Law Enforcement Center on behalf of North Carolina State Highway Trooper Kevin K. Conner.

Trooper Conner was killed on October 17, 2018, while conducting a traffic stop of a speeding vehicle. Trooper Conner served with the North Carolina Highway Patrol for 11 years.  He is survived by his wife and two children. Trooper Conner was a graduate of RCC’s Basic Law Enforcement Training program.

The Right Way Group has also donated $10,000 in his memory and has established the Kevin K. Conner Scholarship to be awarded to a deserving BLET student.
