Get vaccinated, get a free lunch January 5 at RCC

The first 40 who get vaccinated, or who receive the booster shot, at Robeson Community College on January 5, not only will protect themselves and others from the COVID-19 virus, but will also receive a free boxed-lunch and drink from Firehouse Subs. The clinic will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the BB&T room, located in Building 18, in partnership with CORE. No appointments are necessary

The vaccination clinic is open to the public. Anyone that is 5 years of age and older is eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccination.

CORE will have 1st and 2nd doses of the Moderna and Pfizer vaccine available, 1st shots of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine, as well as booster shots for all three vaccine manufacturers.

The CDC recommends anyone that is 18 years of age or older get a booster shot.

Pfizer Booster – eligible to receive 6 months after 2nd shot

Moderna Booster – eligible to receive 6 months after 2nd shot

J&J Booster – eligible to receive 2 months after 1st shot.

Robeson Community College is designated as a COVID Champion College by the White House and the United States Department of Education. To date, RCC has assisted in getting more than 250 shots of the COVID vaccine in the arms of students, faculty, staff, and community members.
