Emergency Medical Technician Course (EMT)

This is the basic Emergency Medical Technician course which is a required to work with most rescue squads and EMS agencies. Upon successful completion, students will be eligible to sit for the North Carolina Office of EMS or National Registry EMT certification exam.

Course Offerings

EMT Night Class March 3, 2021 through July 28, 2021. 

This class will meet on a rotating schedule:

1st week, Wednesday/Thursday

2nd week, Monday/Tuesday (Repeat schedule)

Building 17 room 1752-B

Class Hours: 1800-2200

Students must score a 12th grade reading level on a reading comprehension exam given on campus. The test is free. Students must show picture ID before being allowed to test. Test is located in Building 14 Room 1427A and is offered M,T,W @ 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
