EMT-Intermediate
This is the basic Emergency Medical Technician-Intermediate course which is a required to work with most rescue squads and EMS agencies. Upon successful completion, students will be administered a state exam through the North Carolina Office of EMS for certification as an EMT-I. There will be additional fees of approximately $195.00 for supplies, manual, etc. Students must score a 12th grade reading level on a reading comprehension exam given on campus and possess a current EMT-B Certification. The test is free. Students must show picture ID before being allowed to test. Pre-registration is required for this class.
