This is a stackable credential. Classes completed for this certificate may be applied to an Associate Degree.
Maintaining accounting and financial records is one of the most basic yet critical functions of a good business. The Bookkeeping Certificate is designed for students who either already have a college degree and want to re-career, students who don’t have a degree but want to enter the accounting occupation as soon as possible with the option to use the Certificate as a stepping stone to a higher-level accounting education or career, or for entrepreneurs who want to manage their own books in a more professional manner. Students will learn the basics of financial accounting as well as computerized accounting (QuickBooks™), payroll accounting, and tax accounting, resulting in a well-rounded education.
