Before entering the College and Career Readiness Program potential students must first take a placement test. Placement testing helps determine your academic needs and abilities so the college can place you in classes at the appropriate level.
Adult High School (AHS) and High School Equivalency (HSE)
Students entering these programs will complete the TABE (Test of Adult Basic Education) which is a reading comprehension and math test and must score 9.0 or higher in reading and math. Please visit: Test Preview.

High School Equivalency Exam
The High School Equivalency exam that is currently in place is the GED®. The high school equivalency tests measure knowledge in language arts, math, science and social studies.
To register for the GED® visit MyGED® and set up an account. From this account you will register and pay for your GED® testing. The cost is $20.00 per test for a total cost of $80.00. Testing is done every Thursday from 8:00 am – 7:00 pm.
