Services
Printing/copying - The cost to print/copy in black is $.10 per page. For color, the cost is $.50 per page.
Faxing - A fax machine is available in the library. A fee of $.25 per page is charged.
Interlibrary Loans - If the library does not have a particular book/resource, an Interlibrary Loan request may be made by filling out and presenting the Interlibrary Loan Request Form to the library staff.
Computer Lab - The library houses one of two computer labs on campus. The lab hours are the same as those of the library unless otherwise posted on Campus Cruiser. It is staffed with a lab assistant to assist with any problems that may arise while using the lab.
Resources
Books - The RCC collection consists of approximately 44,000 volumes.
Magazine and Newspapers - The library subscribes to over 125 newspapers and magazines to include local and national newspapers. See our Periodical List.
NC LIVE - Provides online access to citations and full-text articles for over 16,000 newspapers, journals and magazines, and encyclopedias; indexing for over 25,000 periodical titles and access to over 25,000 books. For help, click HERE.
NewsBank NewsFile Collection (1992 - Current) - Provides a comprehensive, full-text news source consisting of more than 500 regional, national, and international newspaper and newswire sources.
NewsBank ScienceSource Collection (1987 - Current) - A comprehensive learning resource consisting of more than 400 titles.
*A password is required when accessing NC LIVE and NewsBank away from campus. Students may visit the library and present a valid RCC ID to receive the password. Distance Education students may request the password by filling out the Distance Learning Request Form. It may be emailed to the email listed on the form.
