How to use the Online Catalog

1. Click HERE to access the Online Catalog or type in the address http://lib.robeson.edu.
2. Once the page opens, click the "Search" tab.
3. On the next page will be "Search" next to a drop-down box. Use the drop-down box to select your search criteria. For example, to find the book "How Stella Got Her Groove Back", select "Title Keyword".
4. In the text box next to the drop-down box type the text and then press "Enter" or click the white arrow in the red circle. For example, "How Stella Got Her Groove Back".
5. The next page will either be search results like those after searching for something on Google or Yahoo, or there will be a screen that shows the title of the book and the copy/holding information. If there is no information showing under the copy/holding information, click the "Other Locations" button.
6. When the screen refreshes, copy/holding information is provided. This is where the call number of the book, status (checked in/out, lost or shelving cart) is located. If the book is checked out, there will be a due date listed. The Library of Congress Classification call number is how the book is located on the library shelves.
