RCC Respiratory Students Receive Pins and Recognition
Six RCC students were honored during a pinning ceremony on Tuesday, May 11 to signify their successful completion of the Respiratory Therapy program. Family, friends, and faculty members filled the A.D. Lewis Auditorium to honor the students whose hard work, determination, and diligent efforts were being recognized. The students; Amanda Coffey, Anthony Gerald, Telisha Lewis, Sarah Locklear, Ashley Long and Jessica Strickland will receive an Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy at the RCC curriculum graduation on May 20.
The guest speaker for the pinning ceremony was Dr. Charles Beasley, Medical Director of Respiratory Therapy at SRMC.
Two special recognition awards were presented at the ceremony. The Highest GPA Award was presented to Anthony Gerald. Ashley Long was awarded the Outstanding Clinical Achievement Award for her exceptional performance in clinical rotations.
