RCC Foundation Capital Campaign
Campaign Overview
The Robeson Community College Foundation Campaign “Opening Doors, Changing Lives” has set a goal to raise $1 Million to go towards the existing college endowment. The Foundation has made a commitment to use earnings as “venture capital” to fund the following program priorities:
- Doubling scholarship awards from the $100,000 to $200,000 or more.
- Equipping and supplying classroom space to include the new Workforce Development building.
- Helping students with emergency funds provided they are in good academic standing and experiencing financial hardship.
- Supporting the Literacy Fund for RCC's Continuing Education Department which awards earned high school diplomas and GED's.
- Supplementing a Leadership Excellence Fund to attract and retain top level leaders and administrators.
- Providing resources for professional development activities that are valued and needed by the institution to increase the knowledge base of faculty and staff.
- Allocating funds for unique events and activities that bring cultural diversity and awareness to the community.
- Naming rights exist for building, classrooms, laboratories, parking lots and other appropriate spaces for individuals, families, businesses, or corporations and are subject to the approval of the RCC Board of Trustees.
