Biology Instructor (10-month Faculty Position)
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications — A Masters degree from a regionally accredited institution with 18 graduate hours in Biology.
Preferred Qualifications — A Master of Science in Biology from a regionally accredited institution; two years of teaching experience in a community college setting; experience teaching or working in the biotechnology area.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent will have the following duties and responsibilities:
- Teach classes day and/or evening.
- Teach and develop Internet/Hybrid courses as appropriate.
- Participate in grant activities.
- Teach off-campus as required.
- Academic advising.
- Serve on college committees as requested.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
- Demonstrate an interest in developing biotechnology initiative.
- Demonstrate an interest in training for biotechnology initiatives.
- Function as a member o fthe Educational Services Team.
SALARY:
$43,120 - $64,340 annually (10-month contract), as determined according to RCC's Salary Plan, applicant's education, and work experience.

A teaching demonstration is required during the interview process. Candidates may be administered a personality inventory.
