General Education Development
Enrollment Criteria
- Student must be 18 or older to enroll in the program. If student is under the age of 18, he/she must obtain an under age waiver from your local Board of Education that specially states you can enroll in the GED program.

Placement Testing
- Student must take placement test which is given in Building #3 in the Continuing Education Department or at the Comtech Site in Pembroke, NC.
- Student must score a 9.0 or higher on the reading, math, and language portion of the TABE test to enroll in the GED program. If a student scores a 9.0 or less they will be referred to an Adult Basic Education Class for remediation.
