Compensatory Education Development
The Compensatory Education Development is a program to compensate intellectual disabled adults age 18 and over who have not had an education or who have received an inadequate one. The program goals of the CED program are to help these individual acquire the basic skills and abilities needed to:
- Become more independent and self directed.
- Meet and manage community, social, work, and personal adult responsibilities.
- Topics studied in CED include:
- Reading
- Life Skills
- Money Management
- Community Living
- Health Habits
- Problem Solving
- Pre-vocational skills
All materials and books are free and age appropriate.
